Intimate Wedding at River Bend Ranch, Durango, Colorado

Shilo & Michael were the sweetest couple. They were some of the lucky 2020 weddings that, of course, were drastically affected by Covid-19.

After switching a few venues, but managing to keep the same date, they decided on River Bend Ranch in Durango with a small and intimate wedding.

The day was sunny and bright, and the company was incredible. River Bend Ranch boasted lots of range with reflective ponds surrounded by towering and hanging willows, red rocks in the background, and plenty of green trees! It was beautiful!

Shilo and Michael were married at River Bend Ranch nestled in the red rock valleys of Durango, Colorado along he Animas River. The weather was perfect and clear giving lots of sun to the venue. Shilo and Michael pledged their love to each other under the great willow along the pond with the wind swaying the branches ever back and forth. They then had the most beautiful and epic first dance as the light faded out on the dock at River Bend on the lake then came into the barn to party, dance, and celebrate the night away. While the wedding events and locations size had to be changed several times, Shilo and Michael along with their closest family and friends shared memories, laughter and love all day and it was great getting to be a part and capture it. While the number of people allowed to the wedding was drastically cut from the large gathering they originally wanted, you would have never been able to tell!

Shilo and Michael were beaming and excited from the morning where they both prepared and got ready at the barn attached to the ranch.

They held their intimate ceremony under the swaying branches of the weeping willow beside the still pond and committed their love to each other with their closest family.

Shilo’s brother had brought his vintage car for them to drive off in.

After the ceremony they held their first dance out on the dock! Seriously, check out that drone footage!

Then they went into the barn and celebrated their love with dancing, toasts, fun games, cigars, and all the fun and laughter!

It was an honor to get to be a part of this day! Congrats to S+M!
