Rocky Mountain National Park Couple's Session

Brittany and Tj's Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Adventure

My first meeting with Brittany and Tj took us to Joyride Brewing near Sloans Lake. Over drinks, we discussed their wedding plans and vision, but our conversation naturally drifted towards their shared love for visiting National Parks and the story of how they met.

We loosely planned their engagement shoot, which they were eager to have at Rocky Mountain National Park, one of their favorite and frequently visited parks. Conveniently, we were all in Colorado, making it an ideal choice.

Our adventure began at the trailhead to Bear Lake, with a plan to hike to Dream Lake, capture some breathtaking moments, and hopefully reach a picturesque mountain backdrop just in time for sunset. Timing the perfect lighting in Colorado can be a challenge, but we were up for it.

Brittany and Tj hiked a short distance to Dream Lake, where they changed into their attire amidst the woods. We shared a beer and then embarked on a photo session against the stunning backdrop of the lake and mountains, with one unexpected guest—the relentless mosquitoes.

This narrative isn't just about the engagement shoot; it's also about hitting that 300-word minimum for better SEO. But let's get back to the adventure.

Despite the initially overcast skies and threats of rain, our persistence paid off as the clouds parted to reveal a spectacular sunset.

In the end, it was not just the epic scenery or the stunning sunset that made this day memorable; it was Brittany and Tj's spirit of adventure and their love that shone through every moment we captured.
