Nestled in the picturesque town of Carbondale, Spring Creeks Ranch offered Nicki and Ben the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. Both being from Carbondale, Colorado, this venue was just a stones throw away from their normal lives. With a picturesque view of Mt. Sopris, the resident 13,000 foot peak in Carbondale as backdrop, and some crystal clear mountain streams running through the property, the venue and scene could not have been more perfect to match the vibe of Nicki and Ben and their special day. The expansive green lawn and refurnished barn added to the charm, making it an all-in-one venue for their special day.

Capturing Moments Amidst Natural Wonders
As Nicki and Ben prepared separately for their big day, anticipation hung in the air. They had chosen not to do a first look opting for a more traditional route that Ben would first see Nicki when she was walked down the aisle by her father. This made the morning all that more exciting. Nicki did hold a first look with her father in a touching moment out behind the barn with the red cliffs to the north in the distance. The sun was shining brightly on this mid-August day, and the natural wonders of the mountains were in full force.
A Ceremony out in the Meadows
The guests of Nicki and Ben arrived and were handed umbrellas for shade, which made a nice aesthetic for the ceremony and bug spray, which was more just practical and not quite as good for photo ops. A short walk from the main refurbished barn, the ceremony meadow was beautiful and lush, with a deep green from the healthy summer meadow grasses. The view of Sopris was expertly woven into the stunning floral design and installations from Flower + Vine Design creating a stunning ceremony composition for Nicki and Ben to commit their love to each other.
The moment they finally laid eyes on each other during the ceremony was nothing short of magical, with tears of joy flowing freely from Ben amidst the breathtaking Colorado landscape.
