Snowy Mountainside Couple's Session in Colorado | Mount Blue Sky

Ok. So let me first start by saying this is one of the dopest sessions and couple’s ever.

Amy and I met up with Hana and Brandon as they were passing through town. Both are originally from Kansas City. Kansas City, Missouri that is; not the “Great state of Kansas” as some folk would tweet, I mean, believe.

It was still winter at the time they were coming through, but we wanted some beautiful and epic Colorado shots that really captured the season. So we decided to meet as far as we could drive up the side of Mount Evan’s as possible in the winter.

For those of you who don’t know, the road to the top of Mount Evan’s-the 14er you can drive up- closes during the winter due to the weather. You can’t even make it to Summit Lake. But you can make it to Echo Lake-which we did- and then drive up and just park on the side of the road, drink tequila out of some Miirs(if you don’t know what that is, here’s the link. get one) and take some photos out in the middle of the deserted road- which we also did.

Hana and Brandon had easy chemistry from the start. And just as we got started shooting, the most perfect snowfall started happening. Thank god snowfall in Colorado is so dry. It’s a lot easier to stay out and keep shooting when your fingers aren’t frozen over. And running around in the middle of the street helps one stay warm as well.

It was a v dope time. Like we all had a such a rad time. How else can I describe it to you, it was sick ok. Get it? We saw a fucking amazing sunset over the mountainous horizon too, and they got shirtless.

Can’t thank these two enough. We created some fuckin art that day, as well as some awesome memories.
