This was an Adventure Elopement unlike any other - a 2-day elopement in the San Juan Mountains of Telluride and Ouray, Colorado. An Adventure Day in the Mountains of Ouray, Colorado

Molly and Anthony's original wedding plans were upended by Covid-19, leading them to embark on an unforgettable adventure in the mountains of Colorado. From Ouray to Telluride, their elopement journey was filled with spontaneity and excitement.

We all met up in Ouray, Colorado, aka The Switzerland of America. Seriously, you should see the place if you haven’t. It is a small and quaint mountain town nestled in the valley of some towering San Juan Range of the Rocky Mountains all around.

From Ouray we took a Jeep tour up into the mountains. After an adventurous drive alongside steep canyons and over rivers, we picked a spot by an alpine lake where M + A could change into their wedding attire and then say their vows and commit their love to each other standing at the overlook of the lake.

Little did we know, that right as they finished their vows, a crazy hail and rain storm came through, pelting and drenching the whole land (and all of us) in a fury!

We scrambled back into the Jeep and decided to head back down to the city to get ready for Day 2 of their adventures!

Embracing Nature's Beauty at Bridal Veil Falls

Day 2 of Molly and Anthony's adventure led them to Bridal Veil Falls, the crown jewel of Telluride's natural wonders. But first they had another activity they wanted to incorporate into their Adventure Elopement first: Fly Fishing in their wedding attire! We found a beautiful crystal clear stream near Telluride, Colorado for them to do just this.

It was amazing. After the fishing, we hopped in another Jeep they had rented and headed to the end of the town Telluride. Also, if you’ve never heard of Telluride either, copy and paste what I said about Ouray, though Telluride is typically the more tourist driven of the two.

There you find Bridal Veil Falls - the highest waterfall in Colorado, and the perfect setting for an elopement. We off-roaded all the way to the falls, then got out, hike around, admired the scenery, and yep, you guessed it, Molly had to go swimming in the falls with her dress.

As Molly and Anthony bid farewell to Telluride, their elopement remains a testament to the power of love amidst the grandeur of the Rockies. With gratitude to nature's beauty and the artistry of elopement photography and videography, their journey is immortalized in the hearts of all who witnessed it, a cherished memory of adventure and love amidst the wilds of Colorado. It was magical. It was epic. It was sweet. It was perfectly Molly and Anthony. A silver lining of the hell of a year 2020 has been. This one was special and will be remembered for a longggg time to come
