Abi and Brandon's love story unfolded against the backdrop of an unpredictable 2020, with the world grappling with the challenges of Covid-19. When September arrived, uncertainty still loomed, but their determination to celebrate their love prevailed. They chose an intimate mountain wedding in the heart of Winter Park, Colorado, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Their journey began at the Mountain Lodge in Winter Park, where the couple and their loved ones gathered to prepare for this special day. Abi, bathed in the radiant Colorado summer sun, shared precious moments with her two sisters and her mom as they helped her prepare for the ceremony.
The backdrop of the majestic mountains added an extra layer of magic to this intimate affair, as Abi and Brandon exchanged vows and rings with their cherished few in attendance. The love and warmth that filled the air were a testament to the strength of their bond, which had persevered through the challenges of the year.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the mountains, Abi and Brandon's celebration continued, a testament to love's endurance in the face of adversity.
Abi and Brandon pledged their vows to each other at the small forest ceremony site behind the lodge, then headed to Breckenridge for their reception.
They had rented out a cabin by a stream in the valleys of the Breckenridge Mountains that was teeming with mountain scenery. Aspens were beginning to change in the distance, and the crystal clear waters of the stream created an atmosphere of serenity and good vibes as everyone laughed, talked, and shared memories of love surrounding Abi and Brandon outside the cabin on that perfect night.
It was a mountain evening I’ll never forget - from the brilliant, daytime, sun-filled and warm ceremony, to the moody, fall vibes of the mountain evening outside the cabin.
