Rattlesnake Lake Couples Session in Washington

I actually met Megan at a workshop in Oregon a few years ago. Next time I came through Washington, we decided to do a photo session together with her and her husband and kid!

Of course, if you are in or around the Seattle, Washington area, then you have probably heard of Rattlesnake Lake! It’s a beautiful scene not too far outside the city with sprawling rocky shorelines full of old and massive tree stumps.

We all met here late one cloudy afternoon (it is Washington after all- aka always cloudy.)

We had a few beers together and caught up and then had one of the most fun couples sessions I have been a part of! Megan and David were chill, easy, relaxed, fun, and down for everything - even dancing and waving like the trees by the stumps!

We walked around the shoreline, climbed on stumps, played with leaves and hands, and had just an all around amazing night.

It was a fun and creative one for sure, and I hope to shoot more in Washington very soon!
